On 22 April 2022, Mr. Jaruwat Singsomdee, Senior Vice President, M&A Transformation and Sustainability Management, (second from the right) of Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited or GPSC, the innovative power flagship of PTT Group, joined the 3rd APEC Media Focus (AMF) Group under the theme “Advancing Sustainability Initiatives in the EEC: Achieving a BCG and Net-Zero Carbon Reality”, which was held at the conference room of Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology, Wangchan Valley, Rayong Province. The objective of this event is to implement the cooperation framework of APEC, especially the development of BCG Model, i.e., bioeconomy, circular economy, and green economy, in Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation, Rayong Province. GPSC presented the prototype project of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) Power Plant based on the technology that transforms sorted solid waste into fuel. The said power plant has been commercially operated since May 2021, and it is expected to be a guideline for waste management while adding value to the waste in a sustainable manner.
